Youth Bursary Program
The money is to be used on flying activities, not for membership dues, with the goal of maximizing flying training.
In exchange for receiving the bursary, the recipient(s) are expected to contribute 50 hours of volunteer work at SOSA in the year in which they are awarded the bursary. The funds will be released to the recipient(s) at an hourly rate as their work logs are reported to the Club Treasurer via their mentor.
Once reviewed and approved by SOSA board of directors, the applications are submitted for SAC Youth Bursary Program review. SAC application can be downloaded from here.
